This year, the Schools of Arts of the Erasmushogeschool Brussel are celebrating two anniversaries. The Musical department of the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel celebrates its 25th anniversary and the RITCS Stage Management celebrates its 20th anniversary. To celebrate this, the Schools of Arts, in collaboration with the Royal Symphonic Band of the Belgian Guides, are performing the musical 'The Story of Sacco & Vanzetti' by Dirk Brossé and Frank Van Laecke.

The Story of Sacco & Vanzetti' is about a lawsuit in the United States in which two Italian guest workers are falsely accused of a double murder. The public prosecutor manages to find a racist witness who declares under oath to recognize Vanzetti. The trial is conducted under massive media interest and the two Italians receive support from all corners of the world. During the trial some witnesses revise their statements to the detriment of Sacco and Vanzetti. The jury finds Sacco and Vanzetti guilty of robbery and murder and they are sentenced to the electric chair.

The performance will be accompanied by a large live orchestra (The Royal Symphonic Band of the Belgian Guides)! The show is only performed in Dutch.
